Rails at Sunset – Earlier
This picture with the light from a spectacular sunset lighting up the rails was taken slightly earlier than the one above. It’s painful how fast the sun sets in a situation like this. However, you can’t even plan to come back another time because you have no way of knowing if the sunset will be as good.
We came around a bend and onto the bridge, saw the view, jammed on the brakes, hopped out of the car, and started taking pictures. There was little time to think about position, angles, etc. Since it was slightly earlier this picture had a little more sun in it. There is lots of detail in the dark areas that can be brought out with photo editing software, if you need it. Personally, I like the picture as it is.
