Steam Locomotive Water Tank
This picture was taken in Pennsylvania, USA at a restored steam train station. It shows the restored depot on the left and the large water tower. Steam trains use a LOT of water! They had to make frequent stops to refill their tanks. You can tell from the size of the spout they were designed to dump lots of water into the engine very quickly.
The restoration is extensive and rides are available which take visitors for miles on multiple trains.
